Default to good to be true?

i was looking at some supplements and i need to know if any of them are any good please.

Mammoth 2500 4.4g for £28
which has 59g of protein

superweight gainer 1500 5kg for £25
which says it has 80g of protein which cant be right for the price can it?

are any of them any good because they seem to cheap to be any good

or should i go for something like
Pro mass 2.5kg for £25
that Duran Yates stuff

Thank you
Carl

dunno about the ones you suggested.. not really heard of them...

dorian yates is a good brand but a little expensive in my opinion...

why not have a look at the extreme nutrition stuff.. www.extremenutrition.co.uk - top quality supplements which i will be using myself over the next year in preparation for my next contest!

musclechat members also get 25% discount!

I think the pro-mass has better quality protein however it is twice the price of the others. The mammoth seems to be better than the superweight gainer. If your on a tight budget then you can't knock the price/quality ratio of the mammoth.
If you do buy this don't make the suggested one serving of 230grms. This is way too much. Take about half of the suggested amount. This will give approx. 500cals, 8grms of fat (not too high), and 70grms of carbs. and 25grms of protein.
Take up to 3 a day on training day and up to 2 on non training days. Of course the previous advice depends on how many calories you're eating from real food. I have been known to take a few too many of these drinks and put on a bit of the wrong kind of weight ops:

Although as LeeB says, 25% discount off Extreme products. So you could get 6KG of performance Mass (far superior to the ones you've mentioned) fot 45 pounds. Can't be bad.
