Hi,

i know they are two different substances altogether but i have read reports on the net that claims that HMB increases strength as well as help muscle recovery. A strength increase from using HMB is implied in the report below.

The problem with HMB is you need to consume high doses if it is to work well, I think its something like 6g daily which then makes it financially impracticle.

I've read a few studies and research papers on it and thought it sounded promising but when I saw the doses and the serving sizes being sold by the companies producing it I knew it would be another gimmick.

The one person I knew who did use it in high doses said it felt like taking deca.

Hi,

the dosage for HMB is 3g for those upto 90kg and 6g for those over 90kg. As for the financial side of things HMB is quite reasonably priced on www.bulkpowders.co.uk

so i may give it a try and see how i get on as i dont get on well with creatine.

thanks for the advice,
