Default Creatine Help

Hiya just started on the celltech creatine and at £40 a tub they suggest to take 100g's a day so the tubs gonna last roughly 20days

i train about 4 times a week and follow training with protein shakes, which creatine should i be taking as yes 40quid every 20days is a bit to much

being pointed in the right direction would help cheers guys as dont really understand the differences between the types of creatine

thanks

I think as many others do on here celltech has to be the most over priced supplement out there! £40 every 20 is too much as you say. You can buy the ingrediants sperately and save your self alot of money that way. Think celltech is pretty much creatine mono with dextrose although I'm not 100% sure on that. someone on here will definately know.

you only need to take a maximum of 10g creatine per day.

You can buy it buy the kilo from bulk powders or my protein very cheaply.

cell etch is loaded with sugar. Check the product its not creatine at all I think its about 15% creatine. Buy it pure.

Creapure is tried and tested and works, but in my experience it makes me thirsty and bloated. CEE is 'proven' to work but isn't as noticeable in terms of effects/sideeffects so who knows if it really works.

Currently i'm taking capped CEE (definitely buy capped, its disgusting tasting), 6 caps a day (3 grams)

Nick

You only need to take 5gr of creatine daily, so hlf your doses and double your cell tech tub life. The human body can only hold 5ish grams of creatine and it has 2ish grams in it naturally so taking a half serving will be enough and less likely to make you bloat.

The stuff is way too expensive but quality is assured unlike many options available.

PW as a Musclechat member you can get 750gr of Extreme Creatine for £18.75, that is pure micronised ultrafine creatine and there is 150 servings in there. Thats under 13p per serving!

just thought id offer my thoughts...

for me on a very basic level the best use of creatine is simply as a way of increasing the nutrients your mucles receive after training... i.e. adding creatine to a high GI carb and protein shake and drinking immediately after training... this basically ensures your muscles get instant replenishment and is really what cell-tech does - its just marketed as something special.. like all muscletech products.. they market gimmicks not supplements.. which is fair enough as from what i have heard they are good quality products!

for me all muscletech products are over-priced so i would never use them as there are plenty of better value brands (such as extreme) that offer just as much product quality at a fraction of the price!

is cell-tech making a difference to your physique/training? is it making £40 every 20 days difference? if its broke dont fix it.... but id suggest getting some of the better priced extreme creatine (a good price might i add) and also some dextrose or maltodextrin and you will save money yet get the same results!

be wary of buying very very cheap no-name supplements... theres usually a reason why they are so cheap... if price is your main concern then ask peoples opinions before buying!!! ive made the mistake of buying large quantities of whey etc. in the past and not liked the taste of that particular brand... not nice when your stuck with it for months and months!

by the way... a young lad was raving in the gym about this cell-tech stuff he had bought once.. i knew what it was but i had never used it as i have a post workout shake which does pretty much the same thing... but i had a try of it... it was disgusting stuff mind!! so i let him have a try of my choc whey/dextrose/creatine shake and told him it does the same thing yet i can use whatever amounts of carbs and proteins i need... and it tastes better.. and costs alot cheaper.... havent seen him with cell-tech since!
