If you have nothing worthwhile to add, add nothing. If you have nothing more to do than fill your time be replying to threads "you don't like" I suggest you spend an extra half hour in the gym or in your case Tom with a bergen on tabbing, that way you wouldn't have to panic about cutting it in your marines fitness tests. All I can say Maxi is ask the questions and someone will no doubt help. www.extremenutrition.co.uk ______________________ www.extremenutrition.co.uk - 25% OFF FOR ALL MC MEMBERS, discount code MCD25. www.betterbodies.uk.com Seriously cheap sports nutrition! My opinion's have changed on this a lot recently as its something I'm researching myself at the moment Protein I'd go On Gold Standard MRP on ingredients I'd go even Reflex or Extreme. On taste I'd go Extreme its so much less synthetic, I hate artificial tasting crap and obviously cost Extreme is better if your an MC member. Creatine I've heard good things when combining with vitargo. http://www.cheapuksupplements.co.uk/...rod=179&xSec=7 But there are so many different types as a consumer it does seem a bit hit and miss unfortunately. From personal experience I've had good results with VPX CEX | |

Hi Maxi, (bad name but never mind), other things to consider when choosing; 1. Check the amino acid content of your shake! If you have a whey with 16 aminos and no carbs or fat it could be claiming to be 99% protein and this may sound great but in reality from a 100gr serving you may only end up with 60g by the time the body had chopped up the available aminos in its attempt to manufacture the missing ones. 2. Check the protein sources. Whey powder, hydrolysed whey, milk protein isolate in my opinion aren't good. 3. If price is your greatest motivating factor then don't bother asking which is best because you won't want to pay for it. Some people are happy buying the cheapest form of unflavoured whey they can bcos in their mind "whey is whey". Not the case, there are different processing methods and different suppliers who supply varying qualities of whey, as you can imagine the cheap ones aren't as highly processed and are less bio available to your body. Obviously I'm biased in favour of Extreme Protein with 22 aminos, ultra low sodium and lactose, under 5% carbs and fats and 77% protein. 4 different protein sources giving you a time release effect which increases digestion opportunity, CNP Pro Pep is a good product, Inner Armour TriPro Whey too in my opinion is a good one also. With creatine I'd advise you to get a good creatine (ours is HPLC tested at 99.8% pure) and have a level teaspoonfull at breakfast and after training, that will give you about 6 grams daily which is plenty. Save your money on buying Cell-Tech type formulas, they are gimmicks, they work but so does grape juice with creatine! So if this isnt too silly a question...What difference would i notice if i changed from my reflex instant whey and reflex creapure to an extreme brand? And if you would like me too ill test it.. pm me with your finest recomendations and prices.. The reason i say this right or wrong im one of the people who do think whey is whey and creatine is creatine.. So i dare you to convert me .. DISCLAIMER (this is meant in a friendly manner) |

As far as guys with vested interests in supp companies I have a few points. 1. They normally pay for the advertising and thats what keeps the board running. They are just doing there job and as a consumer your free to ignore them 2. They normally have a great deal of knowledge in the areas and post important valuable points. 3. Your obviously not a member of muscletalk IMF or Anabolic minds. We don't have a lot of guys with vested interests to my knowledge we have 1, and he's not exactly hiding it. I don't count Commando Tom because everyone gets a 5% discount for first time referrals at MyProtein. Oh and not sure where your post is mate. If I ever delete posts I make a point of saying so because I don't believe in locking threads of deleting posts I don't like I'd rather respond to them. |
