I use the regular vitargo from www.wayside-kinetics.co.uk some good info on it there too, it is one of the best carb sources out there in my opinion, similar to myprotein activated barley, but better post workout, I would just add creating to it works out cheaper that way

Sounds good thanks for the link. In relation to dextrose etc what affect does the product have on bf levels. It creates an insulin spike but has no sugars.

It is actually absorbed without really creating an insulin spike, I am using it now during a strict diet and the fat is falling off but it is keeping my energy levels up, definitely a worthwhile addition, the citrus flavour is really nice too

If your talking about Virtigo from Nutrex the CGL stuff its wicked strength increased rapidly but could only buy from u.s dose anyone know where I can buy over here in uk. The only creatien product to work for me.

Gentlemen, I have a friend who actually works for another UK based supp co who you will all have heard of but I don't think its right for me to throw his name into the mix here without his approval, he contacted Vitargo in America to ask for some science on the product, g.i. score, blood lipid readings, etc, before he considered using it for his contest prep.

He recieved an e-mail, which I will post later this week once I get a copy from him, from Vitargo saying they don't know why it works only that it does and it is absorbed the same as maltodextrin.

I would be interested in reading that as my understanding is that it is only manufactured in Sweden, Swedish company 'Carbamyl AB' hold full patent rights and have detailed through vitargos' osmolarity rate why it is digested differently than maltodextrin and dextrose
