Default liver protection

other than milk thistle, what other supps are good for the liver.?

i have had some bad news from the doc.

my liver count is 95%

its ment to be 45%

he,s told me to lay off protein for at least 2 months, to give it time to heal itself.

just wondering if anyone has used anything else.

Should've been a question for the doctor probably steve

I think getting the oils down u (omegas), possibly sesathin from avant labs, would help the liver

Milk thistle, artichoke, ALA are all supposed to be good for the liver, but def. go back to the Dr's and ask him!
Hope you get sorted soon Bud.

The levels you describe are not way up there steve, the normal level is from 0-42, and docs dont normaly get concerned as long as your levels dont exceed 3 x the normal level (i.e. > 135 U/L).

If you want to lower your levels id suggest that you combine "Milk Thistle" with "Liv 52", while Milk Thistle has got very many studies to back up its effectivness Liv 52 also boasts some great cleansing properties aswell!,

I use Milk Thistle all the time and im always recomending it to everyone that wants to have a healthy lifestyle, lol ive even got my mum and dad taking it 8) , so if you combine them both with lotts of water your levels will drop, then you can take milk thistle as part of your daily supps and you will be able to carry on with your protein intake.

Ive also got a friend who is on a 6 month intake of acutane 100mg ED wich he uses to get rid of acne from using AAS, acutane is extreamly hard on the liver!, but he takes milk thistle and liv 52 and his levels remain in the normal bracket of around "42", wich has surprised his doc!.

hope this helps.

Use Liv-52 and milk thistle and buy yourself the bio-light 3-day Detox (think you can get it in Boots) cleans out the kidneys and liver very well, since I started using it my kidney and liver values have been very good according to the doc.
