Default Creatine help!

Hi everyone

i need a bit of help with creatine,

i have jsut started loading creatine for the first time, but unfortunatly due to beeing ill i have not been able to get tot he gym for 2 weeks, (back monday all being well), i did the loading 5 days then been taking the maintence dose,
i seem to have got a bit of a belly back, just a small amount, but could this be from the creatine of simple due to not getting to the gym?

one of my mates reckons its the creatine but i am not so sure!

any help wil be great!

thanks everyone!

Creatine shouldn't give you a belly, possibly a bit of general water retention across the whole body, I personally don't believe in the loading phase due to research I've studied but if you genuinley are concerned this is the cause then come off it or lower your dose slightly and see what happens.

The other thing is where did you buy your creatine or what kind is it? Not all creatine is equal, lower grades are more likely to lead to water retention and/or stomach upset.
