Default whey protein shakes vs mass builder shakes

hi

currently I use whey protien shakes ( holland and barrett ) but if i really want to bulk up should i go for a mass builder ? , it looks like you get as many servings from a mass builder , as much protein and more calories, pound for pound ?

thanks

hey roell

good bit of advice straight away is to ditch holland and barrett protein. its expensive and bad quality.

Go for 5lb tubs of whey from www.cheapuksupplements.co.uk or myprotein.co.uk . free delivery too.

If you are really trying to bulk up i would suggest the following product:

http://www.cheapuksupplements.co.uk/...xProd=5&xSec=8

unbelievably cheap. 2 servings of the full dose of that a day will have u piling on the good lbs.

Nick

Roell, we would supply you with 6kg of Performance Mass for 60 inc free delivery, as a musclechat member Extreme give you 25% off the retail price (which should have been 80).

Our Mass is whey, maltodextrin, germinated barley, aspartame and acesulfame free, mixes in a shaker no problem and any of the guys who use us will tell you taste and ease of use is great.

We do it in Chocolate Malt which is my favourite and Strawberry/Banana Smoothie. The calories are clean, the carbs are from Maltodextrin, powdered barley and fructose which we chose to help sweeten it and allowed us to drop artificial sweetners which have health questions linked to them.

What I will say is the calories are the same as most of these products, anyone who boasts of 3000 cals per serving have either loaded it with fat or are talking about using 700(ish) grams of powder per drink!

Ours is around 400 cals per drink and is 100grams of powder per serving, any company who you want to compare these figures with make sure you look at the values per 100gr NOT per serving.

And it is a good deal.

Ive had the vanilla from there and the taste was ok, just bought the strawberry one and it is much better. Must admit, when this one has gone I will be buying from else where.

I have tried loads but now use Instant Mass by reflex. It tastes great and contains casien and whey with complex carbs. I use it as a supplement when bulking and a meal replacement when cutting. Pretty good price too
