Default extreme B&R

just curious why build & recover uses time released proteins?
for post workout do you not want sugary carbs and fast acting whey?

ive been using pro-recover as that has just glucose, hydrolysed whey and whey isolate which I reckoned would be by the fastest way of replenishing glycogen and utilising the whey.

Well the soya isolate and whey will go in first along with the dextrose, the maltodextrin and wheat concentrate and casein last.

We worked on the theory if too much hits the bloodstream at once it could well be lost.

This is one of the main products we'll be testing with the Uni testing program, with ingredient variations, so we will really know if we need to change it and what we need to change to get it perfect

We will get some results back shortly from study one, they just need to write it up in "academic" speak and submit it to some medical journals before they will release it to me for translation into real people language then into the magazines and around the forums.

Default B&R

Extreme,

I've just purchased a tub of Extreme B&R & Extreme Protein. As you know, B&R contains 25.2g protein per 100g. I would like around 40-50g of protein PWO. Can i mix B&R with some of the Extreme protein product to up my protein intake PWO?

Thx

Nick has beat me to that answer! Yes stick in a scoop of whey with it OR alternatively have the whey half an hour after the B&R.

My reason for suggesting this is that the carbs are primariliy what the body wants, the dextrose causes an insulin release which would be present to shuttle the later serving of whey into the muscles better than having it all in together.

This is not fact but another of my theories, of which there are loads!

I like that bit quality way to stop 'that' debate again. As far as the question I agree I think either way would be fine.
