Default comments on my diet and training please lads?

ok dudes, you all know mt story by now, 5'11", was 17st of pure lard, 24yrs old, have now lost 3st 7lb. Still got the belly slightly and a slight hint of man boobs though.

Got really bored and starting to feel very weak not doing weights, so here is my revised weights and cardio routein that i have been doing for the last 2 weeks, all comments and critism would be gratefully recieved.

Btw, i have not put times down for my meals as i work shifts and i eat at funny times. Oh and my aim? i know it sound silly but i want the body that brad pitt had in snatch ( mickey the one punch machine gun! ), hope this helps...

Meal 1

3 weetabix, handfull of raisens, half pint of skimmed milk.

Meal 2

Large jacket spud, Large ammount of wafer thin turkey ham, Half tin of baked beans.

Meal 3

Extreme protein shake straight after training. 2 large scoops in water.

Meal 4

2 large turkey or chicken breasts, 3 wholemeal pitta breads, 300g of mushrooms in olive oil.

As well as this i sink 3 litres of water a day now, sometimes more if its hot.

MY training is as follows....

Heavy shoulders and tri's, 45 min run, 30 mins cross trainer. Burning total of 1500kals.

I do this every day for 4 days changing from shoulders and tri's, to chest and bi's, to back and then legs but not to heavy on the legs as i love to run. I do the same ammount of cardio every single training session.
On top of this i play football not twice a week.

Hope thats covered everything, one more thing im hyperactive, not sure if that affects anything.? thanks guys, adam.

hi adam

your hyperactivity will work with you in your diet, as you are motivated and want to do something all the time, not like other people who are content with sitting in front of the tv 24/7. I've got a mate whos hyperactive, and although he doesn't do any weights, hes got massive legs, and weighs 14 stone, simply because hes so active on his legs, plays football squash and noticeably just runs around loads and stuff, always fidgetting etc !

i'm not entirely sure of your aims in terms of weight training, because from what i gather you are doing shoulders and tris for 4 days, then chest and bis for 4 days then back for 4 etc?

why not split it so shoulders and tris 1 day, chest and bis 1 day, back 1 day, legs 1 day, 1 rest day, then repeat?

Dietwise maybe cut this meal in half :

2 large turkey or chicken breasts, 3 wholemeal pitta breads, 300g of mushrooms in olive oil.

and eat 2 hours apart. just to split up the protien intake and get yourself eating 5 meals a day instead of 4 (more the better...)

also, maybe 1 scoop of whey at breakfast? or some other protein source (scoop of whey the most convenient, although perhaps not totally ideal), as the body hasn't had a significant amount of protein for maybe 14 hours from your last meal -> the wafer thin turkey ham in meal 2, (although obviously there will be some in the milk at breakfast etc).

Well done on your weight loss and keep it up.

Nick
