anyone no if ephedra is legal in the uk now?

haha **** no i got some mates in my gym who are in the pharmasuitical (spelling) game and they hve actually classed it as a class A drug lmfao, coz it is actually a substance that is found in speed lol

Ephedra herb is not a class A drug - they are referring to the active section ie alkaloids which are common to a number of drugs including cocaine and amphetamines (such as speed).

Last time I checked, ephedra was covered under pharmaceutical misuse laws (similar to substances such as paracetemol) - ie having it is fine, but selling it or holding huge quantities is not.

im sure its legal :?

its not on the banned list anymore for out of comp testing.

Still cant use it in comps tho (oly lifting that is, dont kno about other federation laws).
