Default which supplement

if im trying to add mass is it best to take whey protein or a high calorie supplement of some sort ? or is it ok to take both ? cheers

The key to adding mass is diet, don't be too reliant on supplements to give you size. Having said that a whey shake is great for a fast infusion of amino acids for when you wake up and post workout. A casein based shake is great before bed as it takes several hours to be fully digested.

yeah i get what your saying mate,and im definately stuffing my face with as much quality food as i can get..my protein /carb intake seems about right,but when i add up the calories it only comes to around 3700/4000...im already taking whey,and i havent got a big appetite at the best of times...any advice?

How much do you weight?

that amount of calories seems quite alot

What is your protein carbs fat ratios??

allo pal,my weight is about 17 stone at 6 feet 4..looking to add a few stone...protein 240 g ish daily
carbs 300 g ish daily
fats,no idea but not a lot..any help would be appreciated.cheers

Well it sounds like your allready pretty big so I woulden't expect the weight to come on quickly

Protien intake is ok
IMO you need alot more carbs
Fats should be ok..... i'd guess, if you think a meal is a little low maybe add spoon of olive oil??
