According to trails both are absorbed far too quickly to be much use other than post workout and in the morning.

I Prefer a mixture, I've got 50/50 milk protein and whey concentrate ATM

that and the fact that its gone through less filter processes

personally i use 'ON 100% whey' right now which is a mix of whey concentrate, isolate and hydrolyzed peptides, and 'all-in-1 isolate' for post workout (because they had a BIG sale on before xmas and i just couldn't resist)

I use concentrate as its cheaper and I just cant justify the extra money for what is neglegable improvements. I'd rather spend the extra money saved on something else.

I have frequent shakes, thoughout the day, but with small amounts.

I fiind that better as it's absorbed very quickly, though the bioavailability is good so it's a good supp.

egg whites good for excellent bioavailability and they take longer to absorb...

the fact that eggs whites take longer to absorb is a bonus unless your taking them pre/post WO

we blend isolate and concentrate so the amino acid profile of the mix is nearer to that of what the body contains in human muscle tissue.

Not all concentrates or isolates are equal either.
