| Making Progress Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: somerset Posts: 436 Rep Power: ![]() | Ive got YORK pure CREATINE monohydrate from argos and reading the dosage i should only load for the first 5 days of about 30g then stick to a maintenace of10-20g, in what quanity does everyone take creatine? as i know manufacturers sometimes give safe minimum outlines.Im willing to spend 40 a month on supps excluding food, i think pro shake and creatine is the best way to go.With regards to my first question is it worthwile me staying on creatine permantly or load then have a break?.At the momement i drink a pro shake during my workout but would it be better to have the creatine at this time or both?Is it ok to have both mixed together? Thanks |

| Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 0 Rep Power: ![]() | hello shane, i react very well to creatine. i cycle for 6 weeks,then come off. i load for 5 days at 25grams a day taken 5 grams at a time throughout the day. then the rest of the cycle i have 10 grams daily. before and ater training with a full glass of water. i,d say stick with your shake, and have 5 grams creatine before and after training. make sure you drink plenty of water, the loading phase is where you notice most strangth increases, well i do anyway. hope it helps speak soon |

| Making Progress | How expensive is that CEE stuff compared to regular creatine. Also, if anybodys interested, Holland and Barrett are selling 1kg of creatine for 19 (I think). I paid 38 2 weeks ago (bugger). Got another one so, well stacked up. You will have to be quick, cos sale ends in 2 or 3 days. :shock: I would avoid the protein powders though as even though it appears like a good deal in the sale, its still cheaper, per gram of protein to buy it from www.discount-supplements.co.uk. Plus the H&B stuff is disgusting, imho!! |
