Default Protien Combination

Yo bros,

Does any one know who does a protien mix of whey, calcium, egg? Or any other combo's. Had a look at myprotien, but was unsure of what ratio's to build my own.

Cheers

S

Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex is a mixture of whey, egg, and casein... so I guess that'st he closest I can think of.

I think most MRP's are a mixture of them 3, nearly all are mixtures of proteins!

Or were you just meaning protein?

Was just meaning protein, want to try a mixture to see the different digestive rates make any differnce to my gains. Read stuff about whey being absorbed quickly and really only being of benfit straight after a work out. The proteins with a slower digestive rate should keep my body in a positive nitrogen ballance for longer. What do you's think??

I agree with that, I don't know if technically it makes any difference but from reading it seems any other time than PWO whey is absorbed too quick ATM Im using a 50:50 mix of whey and milk protein for that very reason. I ordered mione from myprotein.

MET-Rx Protein Plus (my personal recommendation) or CNP's Pro-Peptide

these are 2 of the finest protein blends on the market, i think both of them contain a blend of whey con, whey peptides, milk isos, casein, egg etc... great if you need a protein boost during the day or before bed

Extreme Protein is a blend of Whey con, wheat protein isolate, casein and soya isolate. Its 0.1% sodium, 0.2% lactose, 76.5% protein, 5.9% carbs and 4.2% fat, it contains 22 aminos and is 22% glutamine.

Board members get it for 33.5 for 1.75kg (inc delivery), Steve (Mr Musclechat) reckons its the best protein he's ever had.

I have used Extreme in the past. Good product.

I just ordered my own mix of 50% whey con, 28% egg, 20% casin and 2% glutamine for myprotien just to try it.

That looks like a pretty good formula Spearman, I prefer a bit more glutamine but thats a personal opinion which I reflect in all our products.
