I have tried a couple of different makes - Never really found them that effective. Would rather get my protein from food and shakes!

I personally don't understand them, every single protein is made of different chains of amino acids, so whats so special about the tabs? Do they contain alot of aminos that the body cant produce??

only aminos I take are l-glutamine and taurine. the rest of my protein comes from shakes and food.

I take 3-4 grams of BCAA's before training, especially cardio, to prevent muscle loss. I don't know how much it helps, but Chris Aceto (Victor Martinez and Jay Cutler's nutritionist, used to work with Michael Francois as well) swears by them.
I also take glutamine before bed to avoid going catabolic during sleep. I take a lot of l-arginine during my post-cycle period as it is supposed to help with growth hormone release. I never crash too hard post-cycle.

I also take taurine but only during my creatine loading phase or when I am taking clenbuterol.

Extreme make Aminos, but to be honest I think they are an expensive way of getting a multi protein source protein supplement. I believe you are far better off with a blended protein with time release properties. Its cheaper and you get a lot more.

We also do a Glutamine Complex capsule which I think is a mile ahead of our aminos, free form glutamine and peptide bonded glutamine along with another 17 aminos. Mega for recuperation and if dieted they also give a really full look.
