Default Jus bought some creatine

Hi jus started the loading phase, does it matter wat time u take the creatine? today i woke up pretty late and took a heaped teaspoon full at 11:30am (an hour before the gym) then again straight away when i got back from the gym about 2:30! is it good to take a spoonfull before of after the gym an is it ok to be taken with a protein shake?

hello chris,

it done really matter 2 much about what time you take it,

load on it for 5 days, and take 5 grams 5 x a day,during your loading phase.

it is good before and after training,and i would recomend doing it on its own instead of with a protein shake.

make sure you drink lots of water with it

Yeah, Protein will affect the absortion of the creatine, its best if you take it with a carb mixture (usually high glycemic, sugary)

ive heard its best taken with a fizzy drink.

Doesnt dissolve very well n the bubbles r meant to help somehow apparently :?

Creatine powder doesn't dissolve, fizzy drinks do help as they disguise the powdery taste.

I have tried creatine with dextrose, this was a premixed supplament from Holland and barrett. I tried both the grape and fruit punch flavours. They were better than others I have tried (Celltech, eh steve, What a load of crap)

You can buy creatine serum which is better absorbed by the body

Guys, whatever you do if you gonna take mono, take it in water straight. Creatine breaks down into creatinine depending on the PH. Creatinine = waste, and is pi**ed out.

IMHO even loading doesn't really do much exept make you go through more and dent your pocket??
Serum in my opinion is also a huge waste of money..unless of course money is no obect...

I challenge anyone, try PO10c, you dont have to load, and only need 1.5g per day so 100g should easily last a month. AND I'll personally give your money back if it doesn't work AFTER you have used it.
