Default Some advice please

Hiya guys i

Recently bought:

Reflex Instant Whey 5lb tub

and

LA Muscle Creatine Pills

Im quite a skinny guy and im looking to put on some muscle and burn off excess fat.

I dont really eat alot during the day, sometimes nothing, so im currently going to drink a few of the protein drinks and take a few of the pills (2-3) during the day then workout after work, then when i get home i eat a big meal.

Am i doing anything wrong here, do any of you have any advice for me to help me along?

When i got to the gym i do about 20 minutes on the rowing machine or cross trainer and do free weights and alot of situps. Mostyle just free weights and situps and i try throw in a bit of cardio excercise.

Any help would be much appreciated.....

first off mate you gotta eat. The protien drinks are only a supplement of your diet NOT a replacement. It can be hard at first, eating so much when your not used to it but its the only way. Its no good going to the gym with no fuel.

I find the diet side of bb the hardest but it is so important.

Don't buy creatine pills! Creatine comes as a powder, if you have bought pills all you have done is pay MORE to have some form of binders added to it to hold the pill together.

If your diet is so bad then the protein is a step in the right direction, but you'd be better of with a Meal Replacement so you are getting a steady supply of vitamins and minerals all day as you would with solid food.

As a board member you would get 20% off Extreme Products if you wanted to use ours, but I would say to you get a meal rep next time round rather than just whey. Also use your "creatine pills" untill they are done but DO NOT take more than 5gr per day or all you are doing is making sure the toilet gets plenty too! The human body can only hold 5 - 6 grams of creatine and it will absorb it best after training.

Hi mate, great to have new people joining. You need to ensure that you eat atleast 6 times a day, and that you take in atleast 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight, for great growth 2 grams is ideal.

Make sure that protein shakes are a standard part of your dietary regime, and have the creatine with the protein, it gets into your system, promotes recovery as well fuels growth within the red muscle fibre tissues. This makes sure that you grow at a steady rate and that you can pile on over 10% strength within the loading phase of creatine. This is well worth the effort and I couldn't recommend anything better.

Hope this helps, and keep us posted on your progress!
