Fair enough, bit of a ball ache flovering your own whey every time you want a drink, plus you can't just mix it in a shaker if it's got a banana in it. Chocolate Extreme whey tastes amazing just in water, and in milk.......what a flover!!

On the negative side of what you blended;
(1) your formula is a high lactose one which will not be suitable for 20% of users
(2) too high in carbs for anyone tying to shed fat
(3) not easy to make up if on the road or at work
(4) what do you do if there is a world wide shortage of bananas or you have a power cut and your blender doesn't work?

The flavourings are the most expensive part of manufacturing a protein powder, that is why there are so many companies selling unflavoured powders.

On a product like Extreme Whey there is additional ingredients like whey isolate and glutamine peptides to create a specific amino acid formula which is a copy of that found in human muscle tissue, this is also harder on a home done blend.
