My Workplace is my Gym

Posted 17-03-2010 at 03:26 PM by williamteo
This is my first post, and I would like to share a bit more of how I attained my physique through my work. In my line of work, there is a lot of physical exertion, so having a relatively decent physique is not actually difficult. To get more lines or "cutting" as bodybuilders say, takes more repetitive and focused training.

So I take advantage of the things around me to work out. As a landscape contractor, I am not only limited to outdoor work. I do carry indoor plants and accessories in my shop, such as porcelain vases and other Chinese style pots. One such example is a porcelain pail, it is not exactly heavy but neither is it light (I can fill water to get it heavier), so it is quite good for bicep training. On my arm training day, before I go home in the evening I will put in about 5- 6 sets of bicep exercises, 12 -15 reps per set. And taking care not to break anything or it cannot be sold, means I must concentrate and I cannot cheat in movements. That helps in getting to the right muscles.

I hope everyone finds this bit of information about me useful.
