Cool Shaking like a sh1tting dog

Hello all,
Just got back from the gym, it was one of my leg days today. Quick question, everytime I train legs after I've done a couple of sets of walking lunges (holding dumbells) my legs are shaking like crazy. Does anyone know why?? I used to get it after squating but I really notice it after those lunges. When I start getting these shakes, is that my body's way of tellin gme I've done enough??

It's just your leg's weakening and losing energy. You have to remember your leg's have a harder job than your upper body. That can be rested after training. But your leg's still have the job of carrying your upper body around afterward's.I always get a wobble on after 4 sets of squat's then lunge's with a bar. Then i usually throw up in the car park but hey!

Thanx Gazz, so would u advise calling it a day when u get to that stage or do u continue to train?? I tried to carry on today but just felt like I had nothing left. I had already done a pretty intense leg workout.

No i usually burn 'em off with some leg extention's and hamstring curl's.Your leg's shake because they're trying to stabilize themselve's.If you feel spent then that'll do.Hit 'em again when you feel recharged, build up over time.

My old gym had all the leg equipment in the basement, trying to get back up the stairs after training was a nightmare!

once i've trained my legs, i don't have that much bother going upstairs, but as soon as i take a step down my legs just about give way, anybody else find this?

Yeah my gym is upstairs and after a leg session [and I shake a lot!] those first steps are so heavy because I'm totally spent.

Suprised I haven't crashed the car yet.
