G'day Master-Chief
I experienced the same thing - starting out at 112kg with a goal of 95kg and 8% BF. I refuse to do cardio as frankly I have better things to with my time. I went for the tried and tested diet plus heavy weights to shift the BF.
I went on a hardcore keto diet which enabled me to achieve lean mass gains plus rapidly lose BF - in a normal week I would lose between 1.5 and 2.5kgs.
Training was only twice a week with one day dedicated to Legs (Deadlifts, Leg presses, Squats and calf raises) - Second day was Arms, Back and Chest.
Not the ideal split but I only had two days per week available.
My diet consists of:
Breakfast - 3 eggs
Mid- morning - Protein shake (Zero carb) with 2 tb spoons of pure cream and 2 tb spoons flax seed oil - YUM
Lunch - 150g lean meat (not pork) plus 25g Macadamias
Mid-afternoon - Protein shake as above
Dinner - as per lunch.

Supps - Fat burners x 3 twice daily - L-Carnitine

Warning, you will feel rubbish for 2 days though after that full of energy. Needless to say - NO CHEATING

See how you go

this type of diet which is an atkins type diet is not very good for bodybuilders a better option is Carb Cycling this type of diet will force the body to use Fat for energy by constantly confusing the body by the amount of carbs you are consuming...

At 15.7 stone you should be consuming approx 300g protein this will maintain muscle as you manipulate both fat and carb amounts....

do a search on the site for carb cycling i have posted up more details in another post if their is anything you don't understand just ask...
