I used to train about 10 years ago and seemed to do ok but having got type 1 diabetes 5 years ago all my training stopped. now ive decided to get back into it and would really appreciate some advice on my diet as listed below. I train 4 times a week concentrating on 2 body parts per session and my goal is to bulk up but not wanting to increase my body fat if thats possible?? Breakfast (7.30am): oats and water 1 bannana and 1/2 pint semi skimmed milk mixed with 2 raw egg whites 1 apple Lunch (12.30-1pm): 2 wholemeal pitta breads with scrambled egg or tuna or chicken fillets with mixed salad (lettuce, red onion, green pepper, mangetout, carrot) 1 pear or apple Tea (5-6pm): 2 Baked potatoes with tuna, mixed salad. 1 apple. sometimes swap potatoes for pasta or rice. After training (8pm): 1 chicken fillet an 1 whole egg and 3 egg white omlette with tuna and quark or cottage cheese 3-4 Pints of water each day I try not to have too many snacks as this makes my bs fluctuate im grateful for any advice cheers |

Everything your looking for has been asked recently and answered with great intelligence. If you search the forum you will find it easily. Congrats on getting back in the gym and good luck on coming back everyday. My diet JUST got tweeked by a few Ironmen from this site. I did as they instructed too, but had to reduce serving size, because basmati rice keeps you full forever. I have never eaten basmati before so I'm still tweeking my diet a little to make sure I get my 7 meals a day in. This is how it works so far. Wake Up- Protein Shake (like clockwork) and vitamins 1st Meal - 1/4 cup oatmeal, 4 egg whites, 1 yolk, OJ 2nd Meal - 1/4 cup of basmati, 1 bnls sknles chicken breast 3rd Meal - MRP Workout 4th Meal - 1/4 cup of basmati, 1 bnls sknles chicken breast 5th & 6th Meals - 1 lean piece of meat with fibrous vegs 7th Meal - Protein Shake with fiber supplement (syllium) I am trying this out for now, energy levels are up and waist is shrinking Thank God Good Luck and I hope this helps ______________________ Socrates believed that a man would make the right decision if he knew all aspects of the situation.
