i train less than anyone on site so i`m biased and will say thats overtraining-
i trained, using a similar routine to the one i posted, last year and it went fine.
if you read my journal you`ll see how i train

Blimey Luigie. If you did 4 bodyparts per session and 10 sets for each muscle - thats 40 sets per workout. That seems too much to me.

Personally, I would not do more than 2 bodyparts per session and include 3 exercises at 3 sets each for each of the bigger muscle groups (e.g. back, quads, chest) and 2 exercises at 3 sets each for the smaller groups.

That way, you spread each muscle group out over the week, allowing them a greater time to repair and grow

As a general rule of thumb, no more than 18 sets per session, no more than 12 sets per large bodypart and no more than 8 sets per small body part

IMO
