| Under Construction Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 2 Rep Power: ![]() | I'm a 21yo Male at 5.8 and 175 Last time i checked my body fat was pretty bad at 21% But i have been working out in and out for about a two years now. I've been thinking about loosing weight and try to burn at least 4-500 calories when i do Cardio (3-4 times a week) and a side from one maybe two cheat days I try to keep my diet with the lowest carbs possible and try to take at least 2 to three protein shakes a day. I want to get more muscle but at my weight and height i'm just afraid of getting FATTER! Any good advice out there? Picture of me as of 7-23-06 http://profiles.yahoo.com/picjul2306 |

Aside from your protein shakes what protein are you consuming? Shakes should account for about 1/3 of your daily protein maximum, the rest should be from good quality meat and fish. 2 cheat days? 2 cheat days is FAR TOO MUCH.... perhaps 1 cheat MEAL per week is allowed. 2 whole cheat days at 6 meals/day is 12 cheat meals.... | Under Construction Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 2 Rep Power: ![]() | hey thanks for the reply I usually try to eat every 2 - 3 hours (well since i began recently in the "diet") I take a lot of my protein from chicken as well as from egg whites that i eat with a few grains of pepper i also try tuna here and there. Oh and on my cheat "days" which will now be gone lol i usually ate big like twice a day. I want my body to be a bit bigger and my chest to stick out more. |
