I was told that straight after an intense workout, the muscles are in need of the nutrients in the PWO shake and rebuilding takes place right away. So therefore to aid this a nap would be good? Is this true? I am asking because I workout early in the mornings. I wake up at 6, have my oats and whey, off to the gym for 7, workout till 8, and back in bed for 8.30 for an hour or so nap. Is this helping or not with hypertrophy? Many thanks |

So, as part of recovery and building, I'd say 30mins-1hr sleep after PWO drink training would be beneficial. Especially if you train twice a day. I think I read somewhere that Arnold was a big fan of having a sleep in the afternoons. |
