Default meals???

alright folks, i'm really bored with the meals i'm eatin nowadays. about 3 months ago i cut out all the crap i used to eat i.e crisps, sweets, fried and processed foods and usually 1-2 take aways a week and i used to drink about 2 -3 pints of cola a day which i've now cut out and drink only water but when it comes to my dinner i haven't got much of a imagination for meals.

i'm not a big fan of vegetables so my main meal generally consists of 2 chicken breasts or pork chops with some microwaved rice :? or lasagne or some form of pasta. so as you can c i'm in dyer need of some help and advice

The usual issues are how to make my food tasty without making it too high if fat, salt and simple carbs.
I make a lot of pizzas using wholemeal four, find a basic recipe for bread. Make a load of dough split them into pizza sized portions and freeze. Defrost the night before, add tomato paste, spinach, onions, freshly cooked meat, and a little parmasane. I make these every weekend to stop myself from eating that frozen cr*p.
Buy some pesto and use it with pasta or to marinade your meat (don't put it on your ****).
Herbs and spices are important too. Get some chinese five spice, again use it with some water or soy sauce as a marinade or add it to your rice.
Don't just buy rice and pasta, try potatoes, buck wheat, bulgar wheat, cous-cous, and quinoa(my personal favourite due to being high in protein).
Get yourself a book which will encourage you to be a bit more adventurous with your food. It doesn't have to be tastless and boring.
