Default acne

Hey all, great site!

I've been working out for about 6 months and seeing some good results. I've been taking creatine after each workout for about the last 2 months. But now have developed acne on my shoulders. Is this from the creatine? I was wearing a tank-top (muscle shirt) to workout in for a while but have switched to a t-shirt. Does any of this have to do with working out, or am I just unlucky?

it could be due to a lot of things, but potentially could be that your testosterone levels are increased due to your trainnig regime, causing the acne. What age are you? if your <20yrs anyway you'll be prone to acne

Thanks for the reply nick500. I'm actually 44 years old, so seem a bit old for acne, eh? Maybe my body thinks it's getting younger with all the exercise. LOL

hi

I am 37 years old and have found the same problem with spots, I thought it was to do with more exercise and therefore sweating more, I also now get my chest and back waxed which probably does not help.

Does anyone know of any supplements etc that could help.

Regards

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) I have found helped really good to dry your skin out and kill acne within about 7 days !

I used to suffer really badly with acne but only after i stopped drinking and religiously took multivitamins and oils etc did it stop...
