Being fairly new to diet and nutrition and training is it possible to build up a bigger upper body, whilst losing bodyfat from the stomach at the same time, and I bought 4 tubs of cyclone the other week (It was before I knew about extreme nutrition before the boys come round to break my other kneecap lol!!) but on the tub it says to take it regularly daily in which case a tub would last 10 days, however a bloke down the gym has said that this is just a case of a supplement company getting you to "overdose" as it does you no harm and you use it quicker and in turn buy more. He said what I should do is take it just before and straight after I train. So my other questions are:- Am I on the right supplement? Is he right about when I should take it or is the tub right? Should I be taking any kind of Fat burner to help with losing bodyfat? Thanks in advance for your help CM. |

Don't worry about having too much but keep to your calorific goals. Nick ______________________ - Obsession is what lazy people call dedication - |

I try to eat clean, but find being strict very difficult. If it is calories a day how many should I aim for and how should they be made up? I'm currently 6'0 tall and weight about 14 and a half stone. |

Things to bear in mind when your sorting out calories: 1g protein - 4cals 1g carbs - 4 cals 1g fat = 9 cals So if you aren't eating clean and eating lots of fat, then you dramatically should reduce carbs to compensate... Depending upon your diet I'd say one for breakfast (unless you have a solid protein at this time), one after training and possibly one at bedtime. This is subject to me assuming your current protein intake will be low. Fat people get fat through overeating carbs and fats, muscular people get big through overeating protein - unless they are genetic freaks like Bodyworks! ______________________ MMUK Musclechat.co.uk Manager |
