I don't really train at home so I'm probably not the best guy to answer this. Just make sure you have the equipment to squat and deadlift

The 10001st was worse! lol

You could get massive with a Barbell, Bench with incline, lat pull down machine, plenty of plates and a few dumbells.

Power Rack, Bench and Free Weights IMO if you have the space. The Powertec Power Rack seems a good buy @ £329 really depends on your budget though as you can get cheaper racks from as little as £100 of course build quality wouldn't be as good.

id recommend if you can afford

a smith machine (around £250)
& a cable crossover (around £300)
a good bench & olypic weight set of free weights & dumbells

i have a multi gym (with bench cables pecdec ect)
+ some free weights for when i cant make the gym due to time...

thinking of buying what i mentioned above

do a search on google theres some good stuuf about for the right price

depending on the size of your garage, i have a home gym on the ground floor of my house and the room measures 12 ft by 13ft, ive put a 8ft by 5 ft gym mirrow in and full rack of dumbells from Ebay, bench machine with built in spot protectors, and then i have a multi gym, ive stripped this down to just for triceps and back as i dont need the chech bit and b taking this off its a lot smaller, i also have a rack of barbells. you can also get gm flooring of Ebay. Fantastik having your own gym as you will train even if you don't feel like it.
