Best way to shed the fat is a 500 calories per day deficit, some cardio, a good lifting routine and a very clean diet.

Look around at some of the posts - there's a ton of info here!

Dude,

Firstly, hope everything's cool with the 'BIG C' - the meds seem to think that exercise is good at beating it.
Also, congrats on giving up ciggies- it ain't easy Bud, but soooo worth it!

I'm sure you'll get to your target weight/size.

There's a load of info on here and some VERY knowledgable guys so don't be afraid to ask for advice etc!

Look forward to your posts Bud.

Default Re Help

[b]Hi Niceguy... Try not to worry too much re yr excess weight. Six years ago i weighed just over 23 stone. i'm know around 110k and have been training for four weeks.
Earlier M wrote; Best way to shed the fat is a 500 calories per day deficit, some cardio, a good lifting routine and a very clean diet.
[b] I'd just like to add that the easiest way is not to put too much pressure on yourself. Don't say "I wanna lose five stone" but instead say "I want to lose half a stone". It worked for me and it'll work for you too. Once you lose the half stone, aim to start again.
Feel free to email me if you wanna chat or maybe meet up for a beginners training session.
Good luck my friend
Jack [/i]
