Now, where to start...... Just try looking up some bodybuilding sites and having a browse through them, try reading through the old posts in this forum, maybe buy some books on bodybuilding and exercises etc and anything you don't understand, don't be scared to ask however stupid your question seems, we've all been there sometime. you'll soon pick it up. You also need to go to the gym (Duhhhh wouldn't have guessed) or a home gym would work, but I found I was easly distracted at home, and start lifting. Most gym instructors don't have much clue about bodybuilding, so your best off learning how to do the lifts (very important) getting a good routine. Hope that helps a little ______________________ Benj |

Also cardio based workouts will help immensly, aim for about 30-45mins a day of walking, jogging, cycling etc and stretch, stretch, stretch!!! With the weights def. speak to your gym instructors (sorry Benj mate!) as IMO most of them have a good understanding of the better toning routines - I can't offer any advice on these as I tend to do heavy low rep stuff to try and put size on. Being 5'10" you're quite tall so you may not need to loose much weight but 'tone up' I hope it goes well for you, keep us posted mate. Cheers, LM. |

I had to have an induction so I told him I wanted to put on muscle, so he made me do a routine that trained my whole body with just machines, and said do it about 3 times a week! :? ______________________ Benj |
