Diet looks very good mate

Not too sure about your training, back and chest on the same day??
IMHO I'd try training like this

Back/Bi's
Chest/Shoulders/Tri's
Legs

Back and chest on the same day...you are a brave man pal!!

My routine is like this:
Mon: Shoulder & Biceps
Tue: CV and ABs
Wed: Back & Legs
Thu: CV and ABs
Fri: Chest & Tris
Sat & Sun: rest

I got this from my training partner, we use this rota and follow it religiously, and find that it works best for us.

Your regime looks very strict and good mate, let us know how it goes

Hi Steve, Yes I could train 4 days per week, the only reason I don't is I was told i'd make better gains.

Looking at the above routine it does seem I'm doing to little. What do you think?

Harry,

It all depends on intensity. Some people really work their chests and doing a whole body workout 3 days a week is going to mean training for about 2-4 hrs (not a good idea), this is when different body parts and days per week come into play.

You could work your chest one day and legs another and arms another and so on. The reason is if your doing 1-6 sets or sometimes more and 2-3 exercises for your chest to really balst it at all angles then this would be better on a seperate day to allw you do train like that.

I have trained 3 times a week, 4 times a week, 5 times a week and 6 times a week. If you train hard (I mean really hard) allow about a week off before training that muscle group again, maximum of twice a week (per muscle group).

Good luck!
