I'm quite thin and really, really want to gain weight. I have tried supplements before and light weight training with dumb-bells at home but that didn't really do much because to be honest I wasn't sure what I was doing. I looked through the net a little while back and found buildsize.com. Seemed quite good but I'm just wondering does that kind of program work the way it says it does? I basically need a complete program to stick to so that I can discipline myself. Any help will go a long way. Thanks all...... mok28 |

You need to do compound movements to build your body up, these are: - Bench Press Shoulder Press Squats Bicep Curls Chin-Ups Or Lat Pulldowns Triceps Pushdown Or Dips These movements invlove alot of muscles and therefore will make your muscles respond quicker than trying to isolate them. Make sure your eating enough protein (2gm per kg of body weight), eating sufficiant carbs to fuel your workouts and do about 3-4 sets per exercise of between 6-10 repetitions. Eat about 5 times a day, prefabley 6-7 times to help keep your muscles fueled and constant supplies of Amino Acids. Train hard and rest hard! After about 4-5 months you will notice your size and then you would look at different movements to develop the muscles further (after building the bulk). Good luck! |
