I've been working on squats and deads over the past few months and had my form checked with an instructor who says all is good in that department....To help slightly improve my form I dropped the weight...
When I'm doing squats I have no pain/aches, but this week my lower back is really aching the day after my workout (especially when sitting still in the office for hours on end)
Is this 'normal' and just my lower back strengthing up and the ache is no different to an intense workout on any other body part or am I doing something wrong?
i've read a few articles about strengthening your transversus abdominis which can help towards strengthening the core, and i do weighted crunches, although nothing really aimed at my lower back?
The gym im at are adding to the weights so Olympic sized weights can be used for deads instead of having them sit on a box lol
Any info much appreciated....New to all this and the last thing I wanna do is end up with a knackered back
