Re: tough guy nice 1 gazz, some good advice. Not sure where i can lay my hands on a tyre but i've already started jogging with weights in my back pack and practicing running up and down hills, the main problem i have is bloody painful shins! I'm hoping the pain will subside after my condidtioning improves and that it isn't the dreaded shin splints. I can quite happily run 8 miles round the park but my shins are pretty painful after. I reckon i need to be comfortable running 10 miles cross country before I can even begin to think about the tough guy. Luckily I have plenty of time to train. |
