Cal have you tried seated Calve raises?

Sit on a chair, and put your feet on a plate or two.

Then hold one or two plates on top of your thighs.

Go up to full stretch, hold, come down to full stretch, hold. Repeat until it's painful.

Rest. Start again.

Did these for the first time on Monday. I'm still hobbling
