Default Re: shin splints help

I had them bad when i first started running half-marathons . . . . rest seems to be the cure . . .

I take it you are skipping ! maybe try to stay on the ball of yer foot, and not skip too long.

Are you near a beach, ? take yer shoes off and paddle thru the water, it works for me . . . . but maybe its just superstition and i dont think theres a real-right cure.

Keep your weight down . . . doh ! wrong forum for that advice . . .

Keep yer shins warm when training. dont wear shorts, wear trackie bottoms.

The Wikipedia page aught to be good, i'll check that too
