Thats the way i do it.I have'nt got the time lately to do them on separate days.At the moment ive been doing 30 mins of X trainer first,then 45mins of weights,gets me nice and warmed up.Removes all the first set stiffness and lets me go straight into it hammer and tong.If i had any sort of concern with doing things this way it would be the 75mins of total training time which is 15mins more than the politicaly correct 'no more than 60mins' total.What your doing is perfectly fine.
