An important point that you need to bear in mind is that it takes anything up to 20 minutes of steady cardio work for your body to consume the sugars in your system before it turns to your body fat stores for energy.You're preference is HIIT so your heart rate is higher but the longer you can go the better the results will be.You've only just started out so don't beat yourself up over it just yet.Your fitness will improve over time and that will anable you to gradually add minutes to your workout which will in turn mean more calories burned.
