Default Re: Is it too late to start Karate, Judo etc?

Honestly late teens is the best time to start martial arts training,

lets face it you not living in a country where your in a militaristic training program for exersise/combat (like china) where the children are beaten daily if they dont perform.

I helped teach juniors and they were all shit, they have no dicipline, no dedication there just there so there parents get a 2 hour break 2 nights a week and a cheap babysitter.

I meen if it was such a good idea to learn martial arts as a child why do so few juniors make the cross over to adult classes?

I started tae kwon do when i was 17, did shotokan when i was 19-20.

I dont think your choice of martial art is a sound one though, ninjitsu your going to be taught a load of BS by a 9 stone weakling/ or a out of shape fat ****. (same as alot of martial arts realy).

Do somthing thats actualy usefull like mma, thai boxing, boxing, judo, sambo, bjj.
