Default When are you ready to train again

Just wondering if I should wait til I've completely lost that feeling of overworking my muscle group before training it at all? on the second day of upper body rest and still feeling it, though not AS much. More out of curiosity. Prob as I've just started back even my smallest of core muscles are feeling a major shake up or even some muscle groups I wasn't working.
