Re: Best way to train for boxing! yes you're definately right mate, most of your punching power comes from the legs. The trouble I have with doing heavy work on legs is becuase of the amount of running we have to do within the boxing if I train my legs heavy it leaves my legs exhausted for running. especially when you have to do hill runs, as you can imagine trying to sprint up a hill aint the easiest at the best of times let alone after doing squats the day before lol. That being said I do work legs in the circuit training I do on saturdays. |
