I've heard this term used looselly before and I think it's in referance to protein from living animal but after doing a quick search I found nothing of interest or clarification. I've also heard of synthetic protein and found some interesting information but nothing of relevance to the question above. Long story short wouldn't waste to much time comparing apples to organge, just eat JMO
