Re: Girl Kicked To Death In Park i think alot of it has to do with what children are exposed to and what they feel is acceptable....
look at the films that have been released over the last 10-15 years... in the past violence was in films yes.. but it was not as realistic as it has been recently.. the settings were different and the environments that violence happened in was unbelieveable...
over the last 10 years or so the settings and realism in films has increased so that violence looks and feels real in films, its much more graphic and the situations its displayed in are much more real world situations...
guns were in films long before this... so now we have had gun crime/culture among youths for quite a few years... now we see this viloence... with recent films like hostel etc. what is going to be coming next?
i used to think this being influenced so much by what you watch is all a load of bollocks.. until a woman i worked with who was studying psychology said well if you can watch a film that makes you feel good why cant you watch one that makes you feel bad? - u just dont realise you feel bad!
does anyone remember watching bruce lee films when they were younger? whats the first thing you did when it ended? go in the kitchen and try to roundhouse kick your mate in the head... lol... i think the same happens with the extreme violence these days we just maybe dont realise it! ______________________
