Re: training aches hey dude-i`ve been giving this a bit of thought recently cos i usually only train once every fourth day for the very reasons youve outlined.
i think you need to treat the body as a whole and if one part aches you should wait until its totally recovered till you train another.
for me its because i abuse the phrase rest pause and take 30 secs to 1 minute in between reps for my partial trap bar deads.
this is due to my back needing such a long rest in between reps.
i have changed things around recently and found i can train my legs every 2nd day after an upper body workout, but still can only train upper body after a 3 day rest after legs.
you have to decide whether youre truly recovered enuff to progress in weight when you train again.
initially the plan was to train every mon wed fri,but i simply found i didnt have the strength and recovery to do it.
i think you simply have to be very honest with yourself cos theres a difference between being up for going to the gym and being truly ready for another workout. ______________________ einsteins mind was the key to all things...to understand more than to know. www.englishmuscle.co.uk www.extremenutrition.co.uk |
