Re: waxy maize starch the diegstion rate of WMS is faster, whether that digestion rate makes a visible difference to how well your body will put on muscle or replenish lost muscle glycogen over the next 24 hours before you train again is debateable... technically it is better but in the real world is that difference big enough to make an impact.
i prefer WMS, i suffer from irritable bowel and find that the WMS gives me less bloat and im ready to eat quicker afterwards...
so if your next meal is very soon after your post workout shake (i.e. within half an hour to an hour) id say WMS is better as in theory you will be hungrier and ready to eat more. ______________________
