Re: shrugs using barbell To be honest with you,i don't really believe that front or rear barbell or dumbell shrugs are all that different from one another.At the end of the day your still,erm,shrugging!
Pick your weapon,stick with it,find a weight thats heavy but managable and keep the reps slow and controlled,really feel your traps sqeazing.Hold for a second at the top and a nice slow control down.Form is where the gains are here.Dumbell back fly's hit 'em too of course! ______________________
