Creatine monohydrate reacts with fluids and starts to convert to creatinine, this is why all the "new" versions of creatine have been produced but most of them are flawed due to their manufacturing process. For example in the manufacturing process of creatine ethyl ester approximately 25%-30% is converted to creatinine.

As far as I'm aware the manufacture of creatine malate, creatine AKG, and all the others are flawed too, the worst being when creatine is put in an acidic enviroment which accelerates the conversion even more.

It was because of creatinines effect on the kidneys that people have always been told to cycle creatine BUT if you think about it why should you have to cycle a naturally occuring substance, unless the supplementing source is bad for you to some degree.

Nath, can I ask what kind of muild you would say you are (endo, ecto, meso)? What brand of creatine did you use that yeilded no results? How did you use it, when in the day, what size of servings, what did you take it with etc?

There are people who are non responders to creatine monohydrate so it is possible you're one of them, I haven't come across any non responders to Kr-Evolution yet tho. One guy on another forum claims it gave him the sh1ts, but there will always be someone who a product wont agree with.

Thats a very good post, I think you should make a sticky on creatine for all the new guys that come on the board.
