The gelatin caps serve no function but convenience, in terms of the mess and bad flavour. They dissolve in your stomach in under five minutes, splitting them will have no effect.
The only exception to this are supplements/medications labelled 'enteric coated', which are designed to survive passage through the stomach and dissolve in the intestines. |
